Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Phasie. Phasie is a wellness app, the basics are free forever, and Plus is an optional subscription billed by Apple.

Last updated November 6, 2026. This policy is a draft pending legal review.

The agreement

These terms are between you and Phasie ("we" or "us"). They cover the Phasie app and the phasie.app website. By using Phasie, you agree to them.

Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your data.

Wellness, not medicine

Phasie is a wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It is not a method of birth control and is not for planning a pregnancy.

Cycle days, phases and predictions are estimates based on what you log, and they can be wrong. Today card tips are ideas, not rules.

Talk to a health professional if something feels off, and before you make decisions about your health.

Who can use Phasie

You must be at least 13 to use Phasie. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

  • An account is optional. Everything on your phone works without one.
  • Sign-in uses Sign in with Apple. It helps Plus follow you to a new phone, and you'll need an account for a partner link once those are available.
  • Keep your phone and your Apple Account secure. You're responsible for what happens through them.
  • If you have an account, delete it in Settings > Account > Delete account. If you no longer have the app, install it, sign in with the same Apple Account and delete it there. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Phasie in your Apple Account settings, and we'll delete your account when Apple tells us. We can't find your account from your email address, but if you're stuck, email privacy@phasie.app and we'll help. Deleting your account doesn't delete your logs, and it doesn't cancel a subscription.

Your data and backups

Your logs live on your phone. Phasie doesn't put them in iCloud, they're left out of device backups, and we have no copy, so we can't restore them.

If you lose your phone, your logs are gone unless you exported them. Period days saved to Apple Health stay under your Apple settings. Export in Settings > Export data, and keep the file somewhere private.

What's free

The basics are free forever: logging, editing any past day, history, predictions, the calendar, check-ins, widgets and basic partner sharing. We won't put them behind a paywall.

The full Today card is free for your first 7 days. After that, you still get your day, your phase and one line.

There are no pop-up paywalls. The paywall only opens when you tap for it, like on something locked, in Settings or on the one-time offer card after your first 7 days.

Phasie Plus

Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It adds deeper features, like the full Today card after your first 7 days and the best-days calendar. The paywall shows what's included before you buy.

  • Prices: The paywall and the App Store show your price and any taxes before you confirm.
  • Billing: Apple handles all billing through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.
  • Free trial: If you're eligible for a free trial, the paywall shows the date it ends. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then, it becomes a paid subscription at the price shown. If notifications are on, we remind you 2 days before billing. That reminder stops if you sign out, your account is deleted or you remove the app, and Apple still bills you unless you cancel.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Apple may charge you up to 24 hours before the renewal date, so cancel at least 24 hours before it to avoid the next charge.
  • Cancelling: Cancel any time in App Store settings. Open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. We can't cancel it for you. Plus keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Deleting isn't cancelling: Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: Apple handles refunds. You can request one from Apple.
  • Restoring: Use Restore purchases in Settings > Phasie Plus to get Plus on a new phone.
  • Price changes: If a price changes, you'll be told before it applies to you.
  • If Plus ends: You keep the free features and all the logs on your phone.

Partner link

When partner links are available, they'll be optional and free, and each one will need an account and your separate consent. If you create one, these points are yours to look after.

  • You choose who gets it. Anyone who has the link can open the page, so send it only to someone you trust.
  • The link never expires. If there's no update for 8 weeks, the page hides your phase.
  • If it reaches the wrong person, you'll be able to revoke or reset it in Settings.
  • The page shows estimates, and they can be out of date or wrong.
  • We aren't responsible for what someone does with what they see on your partner page.
  • Only share your own information.
  • If someone sent you their link, it's private. Don't repost it, and don't use it to pressure or monitor them.

Using Phasie fairly

  • Don't break the law or use Phasie to harm anyone.
  • Don't pressure anyone into sharing their data, and don't monitor someone without their agreement.
  • Don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
  • Don't attack or overload our systems, or get around rate limits, the free week or the paywall.
  • Don't fake devices or submissions in community stats, and don't try to identify anyone from them.

Our content

The Phasie name, mascot, app design, Today card tips, phase guide and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use Phasie.

Your content

Your logs and notes are yours. If you send us something through a feature, like a partner forecast, you let us store and show it so that feature can work.

If you send us feedback, we can use it without owing you anything.

Changes to Phasie

Phasie will change over time. We can add, change or remove features, but the basics stay free.

Ending things

  • You can stop any time. Delete your logs and app settings in Settings > Delete all data, delete any account in Settings > Account > Delete account, cancel any subscription in App Store settings, and remove the app. If you're stuck, email privacy@phasie.app and we'll help.
  • We can suspend or end your access to our online services, like your account and partner link, if you break these terms or if we need to protect people or Phasie.
  • Data on your phone stays there. Any part of these terms that should outlast the agreement still applies, like the sections on warranties and liability.

No warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, we provide Phasie as is and as available. We don't promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that estimates will be accurate.

Limits on liability

  • To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, including logs lost with a phone.
  • To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Phasie Plus during the subscription period when the claim arose.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can't be limited, or takes away your rights under consumer protection laws.

App Store terms

Apple requires these terms because Phasie comes from the App Store. If they conflict with anything above, they apply first.

  • Agreement: These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Phasie and its content.
  • License: We give you a non-transferable license to use Phasie on Apple-branded products you own or control, as the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions allow. Other accounts associated with the purchaser may also use it through Family Sharing, volume purchasing or Legacy Contacts.
  • Maintenance and support: We are solely responsible for maintenance and support, as set out in these terms or as the law requires. Apple has no obligation to provide any.
  • Warranty: We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they aren't effectively disclaimed. If Phasie fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from that failure are our responsibility.
  • Product claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about Phasie or your possession or use of it. That includes product liability claims, claims that Phasie fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws, including in connection with our use of HealthKit.
  • Intellectual property: If a third party claims that Phasie, or your possession or use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  • Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a region subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" region, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Developer contact: Send questions, complaints or claims about Phasie to Phasie at support@phasie.app.
  • Third-party terms: You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use Phasie, such as your wireless data service agreement.
  • Third-party beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of law rules, and its courts hear any dispute. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the mandatory laws of the place where you live, including any right to go to court there.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we'll also tell you in the app. If you keep using Phasie after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
